Boost: Wellbeing Courses


Boost is a free 6 week course to improve your wellbeing. It is open to people who live in Manchester and is a relaxed, friendly and fun way to learn more about yourself and ways to feel good. So if you want to boost your confidence, sleep, motivation, mood, thinking and communication then why not give it a go. The course is running across Manchester with a mix of 'open to all' courses and courses for specific groups.

Increasing mental wellbeing for the public


Integral to the approach of this team is the promotion of self help and the empowerment of individuals and communities to take control and responsibility for their own mental health and wellbeing. This can be difficult considering the challenges some people face in their day to day lives, but is an approach that complements the provision of specialist services that offer practical and emotional support for individuals. Self help is supported through the provision of a structured course for the public (Boost) with partners in the city; the provision of a website about mental health for the public; and large scale dissemination of self help booklets and information.
