Health & Wellbeing Service - Manchester

Connect 5 Training Programme

The task of improving the mental health and wellbeing of the Manchester population is enormous and complex and requires the combined effort of everybody who works for Manchester people and those who volunteer in services that support Manchester people. The Public Mental Health team in partnership with public health colleagues in Stockport and Bolton offer a programme of free, skills based training to build the confidence and competency of individuals to have meaningful conversations with the people they work with about mental wellbeing. This is based on more than 10 years experience of training delivery in the city. The team also offers advice, information, resources and partnership programmes to achieve this aim.

Connect 5 Training for your team

In addition to the courses offered on the service’s training calendar, we are able to offer bespoke courses for organisations wanting to train 12 or more staff. If you think this would be useful for your organisation, please contact Caroline Bedale to discuss your training requirements.
