This prison specific poster project was developed by the Public Health Development Service's Sexual Health and Harm Reduction team within NHS Manchester.
What is It?
A set of 6 prison specific posters, which were developed by the Public Health Development Service's Sexual Health and Harm Reduction team within NHS Manchester.
Many health promotion resources offer advice which is inappropriate for the prison population, or impossible to achieve, such as signposting to self help websites or telephone help lines.
The 6 posters aim to specifically target, and raise awareness of specific health issues, pertinent to the male prison population. The health topic areas covered include sexual health, smoking, mental health, hepatitis, testicular cancer, alcohol and cocaine use. These posters will assist establishments in fulfilling requirements of PSO 3200 – Health Promotion.
Prisoners were consulted throughout the development process.
These posters are available for sale to establishments across the national prison estate.
The posters have an NHS Manchester logo.
Cost: £15.00 per set of 6 posters (No VAT charged. Price includes P&P).
